UZAMUSE founder Akmal Ahmedov is currently in Guangzhou at the 18th GTI China Expo. For our team, this is a working trip: an opportunity to see equipment firsthand, speak with manufacturers and determine which solutions are genuinely suitable for projects in Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries.
The exhibition is taking place on 10–12 September 2026 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. GTI’s official announcement lists Areas A and D as the venues, while industry publication blooloop confirms the dates and location.[1][2]
The organiser announced more than 100,000 m² of exhibition space spanning over 60 sectors, including amusement rides, arcade equipment, solutions for water parks and children’s centres, VR/AR/MR, robotics, components, management systems and services for parks.[1] Before the event opened, forecasts also projected more than 800 exhibitors and over 150,000 visits.[2] These are pre-show estimates, not final statistics: the organiser has not yet published the final results.

What UZAMUSE Is Exploring
At an exhibition like this, simply collecting catalogues is not enough. Akmal is meeting with manufacturers and comparing equipment against the criteria that ultimately shape a venue’s operation: build quality, safety, spare-parts availability, service, delivery times and the ability to adapt solutions to a specific site.
Solutions for parks, indoor FECs, children’s play areas and new interactive formats are of particular interest. The Chinese market offers an enormous range, but not everything is suitable for Central Asia. Factors such as climate, guest traffic, staffing requirements, total cost of ownership and how quickly a team can service the equipment after launch all need to be considered.

At the MIXR stand, Akmal explored the solutions on display and spoke with an exhibitor representative. We were not provided with the other person’s name, so we have not identified them.

In a separate area, Akmal was photographed beside a humanoid robot bearing the AGIBOT name. The photograph confirms only the exhibit itself and the brand; we are not attributing any functions to the robot that we have not verified.

UZAMUSE’s Perspective
Inspecting equipment in person improves the quality of the selection process. Equipment may look convincing in a photograph, but at the venue the materials, assembly, noise levels, ease of boarding, access to components and the way a manufacturer responds to technical questions are immediately apparent.
For UZAMUSE, this trip is not about buying something simply because it is new. The goal is to find solutions that can withstand real-world operation and help create a compelling guest experience without adding unnecessary complexity for the operator.

The final photograph shows a promotional area for the next, 19th GTI China Expo 2027. The photograph was taken at the current 2026 exhibition; the 2027 signage announces the future edition and is not signage for the current event.
